Day of the Dead is a Holiday with festivities generating from various Hispanic communities. From October 31st (Halloween) to November 2nd extended families assemble together to venerate their ancestors, relations, and friends that have crossed over beyond the veil to the other side of reality into non-reality. The dearly departed have entered the Jungian Collective Unconscious where all exist in a dreamlike state. This is why when you have dreamt at night, you sometimes dream of your close relatives or lovers that have passed over. Occasionally, you have even dreamed of famous celebrities that you admire. You are in actuality, communicating with them and experiencing the dream in unison with these persons during the night.
