Satanic Celebratory Holidays
Samhain - October 31st to November 1st
Samhain is the Celtic Pagan equivalent of Halloween or All Hallows' Eve. Ancient Pagans led the way to these modern holidays with their veneration of what was and still is, their marking of the season of winter. Samhain is also the Pagan New Year! Celtic lore from eons past tell of the veil between the worlds thinning on Samhain making it easy for spirits from the nether regions to visit the physical or waking world. Places are set at the table in modern Pagan communities for the spirits of those that have gone on to the Otherworld. Many people dress up in costumes to indicate to the spirits what they want to become in the New Year.
