Appreciation of Oppressed Scientists Maltreated for their Scientific Discoveries Celebrated on April 30th

Organized religions have long been oppressors and persecutors of the enlightened men of science. Pioneers of the scientific method, experimentation, and conclusive proofs of the laws of physics which did not and do not require any god, continue to be doubted and harangued by religious fanatics to this day. In veneration of some of these courageous men of science, their names are, Mondino de Luzzi, Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei, Rene Descartes, Issac Newton, James Hutton, and Charles Darwin.
